Chapter Meetings will be held on September 30th and October 28th. Both meetings will begin at 7:00pm. The location will be The Sons of Italy, 520 Pleasant St, Watertown, MA 02472
The EMSOA West Chapter invites all EMSOA members to its in person September Chapter Meeting, to be held at 7 pm at The Sons of Italy, Pleasant Street, Watertown, MA on Tuesday, September 30th.
The meeting is planned to run from 7 pm to 8:15 pm.
The Program will include necessary Chapter Business, an update on the state of our association and a very important presentation as created by Matt Stein, West Interpreter and Jim Quinn, West Chapter Vice President and Chapter Director of Referee Development.
Included will be an overview of EMSOA’s Referee Development Program which is a member benefit available to all members.
And importantly a detailed discussion will be the major program feature of how we all need to work more closely together and most effectively with our partners in Two Referee games. This is about the “human factor” in managing all aspects of the game. There will be many examples of actual game situations and how best to handle them. This will be an interactive session with ample opportunities for members to share their own experiences as well as to pose questions to the panel.
In addition, we’ll be talking very specifically about several actual game situations which have already occurred in the first half of our 2025 season.
It promises to be an interesting and informative, and quite possibly entertaining meeting together.
No advance reservations are necessary, and we encourage all to join us.
